So many nice initiatives for the summer !

The summer has finally arrived and with its colors, smells and sounds, we are ready to welcome new (and old) friends that choose this piece of paradise for a rural stay and relaxation in our country resort.

Umbria offers many initiatives in the summer period, look in the Events section for more information and in Valnestore, we have good ideas, for example guided tours in olive groves, every Thursday afternoon you can attend the creative workshops at the Glass Museum of Piegaro, but what do you think of a welcome drink in the evocative setting of the museum itself? On that occasion you can also enjoy local products, but especially you will get familiar with the customs and traditions of this small village famous for the master glassmakers, you will also have the opportunity to know what is happening anyway in Piegaro and you will be amazed to know how many initiatives each of us has prepared. We will mention the one that we consider more evocative for the summer nights with their magical atmosphere: we have decided to organize a night visit to the famous waterfalls Cascate delle Marmore, the program includes the departure with a minibus of 8 seats (+ driver), a-dinner aperitifs with a view of the Cascate delle Marmone and then a one-hour guided tour, the return at the resort is scheduled around 23:00.

Minimum participants : 8, reservation up to 72 hrs in advance. This initiative in part of the Project Mosaico (Mosaic), details will be revealed on short notice. First excursion: Thursday 4th of July.

For those who want to explore the territory on two wheels, without the fear of the up-and-down in our villages we have the electric bike rental, stay tuned for more information!

21 July Zumba, Fitness & Benessere al lago - Isola Polvese : a walk on Polvese Island, animation and fun for adults and kids alike: zumba, postural pilates, nordic walking, postural yoga therapy, massages and Thai yoga. Snacks on the boat and olive oil tasting. Departure from the Passignano s/Trasimeno at 9.30am and return at 5.30pm

10 August Dancing under the stars – Isola Polvese: dance lessons for kids and adults: group dances, Caribbean dancing and zumba!Snacks on board and wine tasting. Departure from Passignano s/Trasimeno at 5.30pm and return at 12.30 am

31 August Music at the lake –Polvese Island: young musicians will play in the magical atmosphere of a late summer evening on Polvese Island. Snacks on board and artisanal chocolate tasting. Departure from Passignano s/Trasimeno at 5.30pm and return at 12.30 am.

22 September Embroidery and lace-making - Isola Maggiore: Nature walk and guided tour of Maggiore Island and the Irish Lace-making Museum Demonstrations and workshops organised by Umbria’s finest embroidery and lace-making schools. Workshops for kids too. Snacks on board and olive oil tasting. Departure from Tuoro at 9.30am and return at 5.30pm

Costs: kids up to 5 years:free, kids 6-12 years:8,00€, adults: 12,00€

Minicruise - Tour Maggiore and Polvese Island with an aperitif. Departure at 3.30pm from Passignano s/Trasimeno, returns at 7.30pm
